Looking for a 1970 RR bench seat and found a nice one here on MOPARTS, but is from a 1971. Will it bolt right in?

Yes John it is, when I was doing my 70 Charger, I had 70 seats but no seat tracks (try and find 70 only seat tracks!).....I tried E body, and 71 and up B body tracks, they bolt to the seat, but don't line up with the floor holes,......luckly Chargervert...Pete.....came thru for me with a set of 70 only seat tracks......I found out the hard way also!

wouldn't the seat tracks for at least a 68, 69 bench seat be the same ? i know that 70 BUCKET seat tracks are one year only . i wouldn't expect a 71 B body seat to fit a 70 b body ...

John,.....I was behind in getting the car assembled for a magazine photo shoot,.....I had everybody and their brother bringing over ANY mopar seat track, bucket, bench, you name it, I already had the whole interior in and had 69 bucket tracks to use assuming those were the same?......only after going thru what seemed dozens of seat tracks, bench,bucket......Chargervert told me 70 only, it's a PITA,...but thats how they built the cars,

If someone really wants to get any seat in bad enough, it can be done,....just a matter of how much work you want to do?

As said a '71 bench with '71 tracks - no.
I do currently have a '71 RR bench seat in my '70 RR, tossed the '71 brackets (it was a long time ago) and pulled a set of bench seat brackets from a 4 door years ago when I put the seat in. The tracks bolted right up to the bench and bolted in the correct floor location on my '70.
