1974 charger was 318 now 383 I got 10 .5 volts at the coil key on . try to start and it drops to 8.4 .All stock parts that are good , ballast resistor ,coil ,distributor ,ignition box (orange box ) all work in my 69 . battery is interstate out of my 69 . THEY all work in my 69 charger I got no spark out of coil or at plugs . I had to add wire to the coil and distributor wires to lengthen them . I used wire from a 1978 c body harness I had . I put black wire to coil ground and black with a yellow tracer to poitive coil .I even switched them around no change . no spark out of coil . tried 2 different ballast resistors no change ?? time to get some beer
