Has anyone figured out how to improve gas mileage on 2010 Chargers? We get around 22 mpg highway.

What is to complain about? A 5.7L Hemi at about 375 crank HP, and overdrive tranny, low 13s stock on factory tires in the quarter, AC, and a 4000 pound car.

Over 20 mpg is awesome.

Maybe it's the 6-cyl???

My 2007 Charger 2.7L gets 28 MPG on the highway. I'm very happy with that for a full-size car!

Not sure of the comparision, get 19 driving around, 26 on the way to Colorado doing 85+, 010 Challenger R/T, modified. Got the tickets to prove it.

With my supercharged '09 challenger SRT8 6-speed manual I get around 15-16 around town (yes, I can do a whole lot worse than that haha) with a little mixed highway in there (my brother's shop is 30 miles away), and 23-24 mpg on the freeway cruising anywhere from 65-75 mph (depending on limit). Same as it was before I added the vortech V3 supercharger So I'm happy with that!

Since I retired, most of my driving is around town. My '08 SRT8 gets 15 driving between 30 and 45. When I do some highway driving, I get 18 to 23. With the cruise set at 75 I get the 23. No cruise and hanging between 65 and 70, I get the 18.

We have the 3.5 V6 it runs great but I bet it could do better. I had a 1969 Satellite with 318 back in the day and it did almost that good.

Dang, 3.5 v6 and only 22? I'd take it in to the dealership and question them about why??? Is that strictly highway??? Don't let something like that go! If that's mixed highway and city, that's pretty good

Yes that was highway, the tail pipe is a little more black than what I would like? Maybe running rich?

I'd definitely get the dealer to look at it. Possibly bad O2 sensors or something like that. Good luck!

Thats about right. the 5.7 will get better mileage than the 3.5 in some situations
