WE can't catch a break from the corporate greed and Mancini racing is selling them. They are selling for 3800.00 was 3500.00. Cap Industries (Same Stuff) nothing has changed but the price...!!! Yes I'm mad as a hornet..

I was told from the owner of Cap (Ray)just after he sold it, that they where trying to fix some of the problems and lower the price of the (Same Old Crap). But NOT!!!!

Well I can Rant and Rave all I want, it won't change a thing.

Bob here I come.. Well when I get more $$ saved up..

Thanks for listening..

Whack off the front frame rails and install a strut front clip.

HA ha ha ha...

I priced out doing that and I thought it was about the same price? I looked at them thru Alstons.. Maybe there is better place to build a strut front end?

My MF unit was $4200....You could probably buy a whole Mustang for that price, but that's what they charge us Mopar people...Still won't buy a rustang and Mancini pretty much burned their last bridge with me this year..

another one of those things where the price doesn't add up to the part.

You have to remember, those cars getting $400 K-frames are already rack/strut to start with. No complicated change-over like on our cars.

Buddy of mine has a $400 AJE K-frame in his '89 Mustang. Bolted right in and works as advertised.

I have a $3000+ AJE K-frame "kit" for my Duster that is one big piece of shyt.

Tube K-frame is big money to save a little weight. My next project will be a strut car for sure. (Oh yeah, it is)

You wont strut front clip your car for the price of Bob's front end unless you are doing all the welding and chassis work yourself.
I have been using Bob's front end for two years and it is one of the nicest pieces I have ever put on my car.

As frustrating as it is, the harsh reality is they will sell 50 of the Ruststang front K frame kits to every Mopar unit. If it's a completely re-engineered kit the development time ($$$) has to be recouperated somehow.
not trying to justify the costs of these kits, but it would have something to do with it.

X2 - all those expenses are amortized over a much larger volume.
As my Dad used to say, the first light bulb costs $10 million, the second one is a dollar.

Yeah, you have to be able to fab and weld to put the strut clip in, or at least know someone willing to help you for next to nothing to do it at around the same price. I would think most of us here can fab and weld or know someone willing to help.

I think I could find someone that could weld it for free...

But now, knowing with a strut you can't be in small tire classes I might just stick with my stock A Arms or just go coil over with tubular a arms

Might be the way to go for this year , Or I will run the same setup and save the cash for a strut front end. I can join the Big boy Club and go fast
