anyone ever seen these in person? how faithful a reproduction are they? If i recall right isn't the usual criticism of the repop pieces that the woodgrain is not good? http://www.megapartsusa.com/proddetail.asp?prod=183-RFP69BWGfinding nice used one's is very tough so considering this. thanks in advance

There's several vendors that seem to use the same one and it looks right to me or at least is seems to match my GTX's dash? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mopar-68-69-GTX-...ies&vxp=mtr $75 doesn't seem like too much $$$ MikeR I need one for an 8-Track if anyone has one or a link please MikeR

and I thought you were going to say you had a great original one laying around and would mail it out for $50...... yah mine is cracked and super glue repaired as well. the whole bezel bows out in the front at the center where the crack is. my one above the glove box also has the right hand "ear" broken off. the only woodgrain dash panel that isn't broken is the one on the left side of the dash....probably not cracked only cause it is almost to small to crack. these suckers are tough to find used.....been looking and haven't seen "nice" one's used...may have to consider the repop for the radio and keep looking for the one above the glovebox. my dash is out and was hoping to be able to have the whole thing looking nice for the reassembly/reinstall.

I needed one for my 69 Satellite and I looked everywhere and could not find one. I ended up putting a black one in for now but I scoured eBay every day for 6 months because I heard they come up on there every blue moon and sure enough one popped up for $125.00 and I bought it. A little steep if you ask me but if you want one you want one. LOL!
Keep a sharp eye on eBay and sooner or later you'll see one but you have to jump fast because from what I can tell the woodgrain bezels are like the elusive holy grail of all B body radio bezels! hehehehe Good luck!

Instrument Specialties does redo them, but the cores you supply can't be cracked. the pictures i saw of the post rehab'd looked really good. as the process is time consuming though the price also is fairly significant.

For $75 bucks if I had an AM only radio I'd give the one in the Eyab link above, or a repo like it, a try. From the the image it doesn't look that bad.......maybe it's the angle I think the reproduction plain black AM radio bezels go for about that. If they only made one for an 8-Track in woodgrain. Hey Bill when you're looking at that one in the salvage yard and it turns out to be a good 8-Track bezel....you know my number
