Finally got my mess back together and Run a 9.16 @ 144 today with some ET left in it....With a tighter converter, and a lean out for the injection hopefully get some 9.0's

1.30 60ft 5.80@ 118mph 9.16@ 144mph

Thanks to Ryan J for fixing my junk after it eat a lifter and spun a bearing in September!

Typical 4.15 stroke 500 CID low deck with 345CNC Indys, roller cam, junky 2 inch hooker supercomps,3 1/2 inch exhaust with bullet mufflers, Rons alky injection, glide, 8 inch converter, 4.56 gears and weighs around 3100Lbs.

I hope to pick up quite a bit of ET and MPH with a lean out as its way too fat on the top end as is typical with a injection setup. Also needs a 9 inch converter now too.

Just glad it made it down the track 6 times today without something breaking lol.

Yea I went a couple of 9.30s spinning and made a suspension change then went 9.24 9.23 and then raised the launch RPM 400 put some shock in it, shifted it 300 rpm higher and went the 9.16.

Congrats on the new best. That combo is working!

FWIW, if you want to go faster...I think the best change would be to custom 2-1/8" x 32" primary headers.
Or a step header, 2" for 10-12" and 2-1/8" for 12-10".
