Hi Guys

2 years ago I dropped the 426 hemi out of my Cuda. Just put it back in today and I can't remember which inlet on the mechanical fuel pump the fuel line from the gas tank goes to.

The inlet on the pump that is closer to the front of the car points straight down and the inlet just behind it is at a 90 degree angle. Any help would be much appreciated.

Clamp the pump in a vise(very carefully) and pump the fuel pump arm, lever, see which side sucks and which side has pressure If I'm remembering correctly the lower holes is the inlet side and the upper hole is the outlet

I have already installed the engine with the pump on it. Is there any way of telling which is the inlet when it is on the engine without having to remove it. I can't see any markings on the pump
