No bolt in front ends that I know of. Can't the crank be repaired?

I just got a 90 Shelby Daytona VNT Turbo car with 24 miles on engine that is blown up. So many new parts, but needs a crank, and I understand they are a hard to find one year only 8-bolt crank... Should I make it a race car or try and find parts to fix it ??? What's available for front ends that may be considered BOLT-IN for v-8's? Any info is appriciated.
In 1990, they only made 536 Daytonas with the VNT.

I bet you could send that crank to Ohio Crank and have it repaired like new.
It is a pretty rare car even if it's not a real desirable one. Some day it may be highly coveted. Leave it to your great grandchildren.

You could always have a billet crank made.
Mopar Performance had a rear wheel drive kit front suspension. It was $700 back in the day. Wouldn't take much to make the conversion.
I know a guy who is grabbing up a few of those rare FWD cars. So they may be desireable someday.
