My trunk lid is moaning and groaning because the nylon slider that goes on the trunk torsion rod and slides against the bottom of the hinge is missing.
I ordered one, but don't see how to install it.
I can't see anyplace to gain enough leverage to pry the rod down away from the hinge to install the slider.
Is there a trick?
My order included 2 sliders, is there a place for a second one on a '71 Challenger, or do you just use one?

Push the rod toward the front of the car and slip on the slider and BTW the 71 Challenger only has 1 rod and slider for the trunk lid.

Geez, that was easy enough! Thank you Mike!
I have an extra slider if anyone is looking for one.
