Or you could put the fuse back in and do the "key trick" to turn it off, just accelerate to 15 mph or more and turn the key to START (don't worry, the starter won't engage)...this will illuminate the warning lights and deactivate the traction control.

Do you have to do that every start or does it not matter.

Since there is no way tp turn off the traction controll on a 2010 Challenger RT I was real bummed out that burning rubber was not an option. This car is a 5.7 6 speed manual. I have now figured it out.... By simply removing the fuse. This car will light up the tires like nothing, it is great!!! The only problem is that the speedo does not work, the gas guage does not work and the electric gate that keeps you from shifting into reverse at high speed is not activated. When you shift into 5th gear be careful...
your joking right?

I hate to ask how you figured out the electronic gate that keeps you from shifting into reverse at speed is deactivated. Is this a DAMHIK? Although I am not one to try and lay down a big smoke show, I have found with the traction control button turned off in my 6 speed 09 R/T, I can nail it and leave a nice patch on the asphalt.
Same here, in my 2009 Dodge Challenger R/T Classic auto I can sit on the gas all day and do a nice smokey burn out. Just hit the traction control button (If it is a 2010, if you hold it down it might completely turn everything off.

I can do it with my late model Charger as well - Kept thinking to myself "so the starter won't try and engage?"
It's nifty and got to "teach" my friend how to in his 5.7 Challenger

The last thing i need is some stupid camero to pull up next to me and ask him to wait until I drive 15 and turn off the key!!!
Are you doing it right? He said nothing about turning OFF the key while you're going 15mph. You have to turn the key to START.

OK OK i did not mean turn it off!!! you push the start button and hold it down until the lights come on the dash then you let go. I know. It does not work. I am going to hook up a switch to that fuse and just flip it off. Next time I hope that I have an extra 10 grand and can afford an srt8, Problem solved.
Too the best of my knowledge you can't do it by just pressing the button. You need to actually pop the button out and use the key to do the key trick.

I also believe you have to pop out the push start and use the fob itself like a key for this to work. Worth a shot anyway, the push button pops out with just a fingernail (then goes flying! lol ask me how I know? really... don't ask me...) Good luck man!
