Mine is an A-body, but I also had to pull the starter and the trans cooler lines had to be worked around. It was easier to remove the pan when I rotated the crank to orient the largest counterweights out of the way (up) as much as possible up front.
Be careful that you don't crack the distributor against the firewall or radiator shroud with the fan when you jack up the engine. It may be necessary to loosen the headers, especially if some of the pipes are right next to the pan limiting access to the pan bolts, and remember that the end exhaust bolt holes will likely leak coolant because they go into the water jackets.
