A neighbor had this car for several years, having purchased from the original owners. 64,000 miles, rock solid, slant 6, 3 speed. I've known of the car for a number of years and all summer had been racking my brain trying to figure a way to talk him out of it.
We were visiting at my place yesterday, he was looking at my 65 Biscayne big block project car and commented again how he'd been looking for one for a long time.
I said "Why don't you go get that Fury and bring it up here and take this one home?". He immediately agreed. We closed the trade on the spot and switched vehicles before the afternoon was done. We're both happy. The best part of the story is during the process we discovered each had been contemplating a trade offer, but didn't pursue it because we assumed the other wouldn't go for it!
The Fury runs and drives great. It's too nice to touch other than the wheels. I just had to post this here as I'm still psyched.
