NV69B7RR OP master Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 6,005 Reno, Nevada	The new thermostat I bought for my 512 RB motor does not have a bypass/vent hole in it. What size hole should I drill in it? I fail to see how bypassing that amt of coolant is for a good purpose even though it must be or it wouldn't be engineered that way but I am going to see for myself(in a street car). We blocked it on our (circle track) stock car & no problems. would anybody care to comment? live every 24 hour block of time like it's your last day on earth

I used a 1/8" hole on my 2.5 shadow and it would not warm up on really cold days. Since all that needs to go thru the hole is air 1/16" should be plenty. `02 RAM2500 SPORT V10 4x4 `06 GMC sierra NO cars
