Glasstek products are very good. Quality, fit & finish is also excellent. I no longer have the car but I put a sixpack hood on it ten years ago and was very happy with it. I also purchased the light weight springs for the hinges and they worked good. This was not the thin light weight fiberglass that does't hold their shape.

Hands down, AAR is top notch.
It took me six months to get a T/A hood for my Challenger from AAR. When I took it to the painter I found that AAR removed the hood from the mold and turned it right side up too soon and the scoop sagaged. I ordered a hood for my 69 dart from them and it only took two months to get here but it fits pretty well.

.... I would make my own parts out of squirrel urine and tree bark.
Hmm, the tree bark I have plenty of but I am unclear on how you collect the squirrel urine.
Well, you start by inviting the squirrels out for beers....

I've heard nothing but good stuff about GLASSTEK . I called them about a glass hood for my 63 Plymouth. They're one of the only companies that make " "Bolt-On" " glass hoods for these early 62-65 cars. They are reinforced with steel inserts. The lighter springs are highly recommended. The owner (Robert) rated his own hood at 8 or 9 out of 10. He said anyone rating their glass a 10 is full of B.S. as glass is never "Perfect". I'll probably give Glasstek the nod for a glass hood for my 63.
