The rpm drop at converter lockup will be about 200 rpm.
A '90 Ram with a 727 wouldn't have a lockup converter and a '71 wouldn't either, only '78 and later.

My two Dodge police cars with lock up have gone into lock up at about 35mph. My one civi Diplomat went in to lock up at 40-45mph.
Facts are stubborn things.

We had a civi Dippy (1980, 318-2, 2.2 axle) and it would go into LU at 35 mph no matter what the driving conditions were. Full throttle and uphill? It didn't care.
