Found a budget 318 of the local CL and decided to throw it in my car to be able to drive it to my house for when I moved. Decided to take it to the track last weekend. Do the numbers below seem off too terribly far? I didnt do any real tuning, just had fun. I know its in the ballpark though as I just did some road testing, one eye on the road one eye on the LM-1. Timing set at 36*

Car 70 duster, 3600 lbs with me in it, 3.91 sure grip, BFG 255/60/15 (about 11 years old), PTC 3400 converter

The combo: 318, bored .030, 7.8 comp, summit cam, 218/228 @ .050, 114 LSA, 276/286 seat to seat, installed at 104, 1975 360 heads, Eddy RPM Air-Gap, holley 750 vac secondary carb, hooker comp headers.

Best run was 14.70 @ 91.14 mph

Just looking for some reading material. If the motor doesnt sell this winter Im going to put a DP on it and a 150 shot.

Not too bad for a 318,that way low compression hurts!

haha, it sure does on the strip, but the plus side is I can run Arco's water that they claim is gasoline and not have problems!
