My favorite event of the year but I didn't make it this year, mostly because my wife just had a baby but wasn't excited about driving the additional time (I think 4 hours) to get to Indy.
I'm hoping that it moves back to St Louis next year now that it's opening back up.
It's the best run big even I've ever been to and it's truely a "racers" event. They have a gambler's race on Friday, good payout race on Saturday (I think $2,000 or better) and then the big race on Sunday. So you've got 3 days of racing at one event.
I do hope they add some of the shoot out classes they did in Indy.
It's a huge turn out, not sure how Indy compared in car turn outs.

I had a great time at Monster Mopar Weekend this year, great job Josh and Co. The rain sucked but we made the best of it. Track prep was awesome, very consistant 60's all weekend. we ran the ten-0 shoot-out and super pro. got paid out on saturday for ten-0 after 1 round and rained out for sunday. I am glad that it will stay in indy next year as announced at the track on sunday. and if you follow monster mopar weekend on facebook you would be up todate on whats going on. josh is splitting the purses to all entered in that class. ( its not a refund ) can't wait till next year, thanks again josh
We also had a great time!! Was nice meeting you Mike, your car is

I had fun and will definitely go again next year. One suggestion for next year, make a schedule with the run order for racing. This would REALLY help those of us that would like to walk around to the swap meet/car show and not worry about running back to the other side of the track if your race class gets called. .

There are very few events that I look forward to more than Monster Mopar. After attending Josh's event in Indy this year that feeling has not changed. This is an awesome event and if you have never attended, you should. It has already been announced that it will be back in Indy next year.
I agree 100%, can't wait till next year!
