440newport master Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 4,588 St. John's Newfoundland	I think that would be an A-230 and yes it should have a syncro'd 1st gear. Earlier versions had a non syncro 1st, but it was around 69 or maybe 70 they changed to all syncro gears.

RapidRobert Circle Track R Joined: Nov 2003 Posts: 36,041 Lincoln Nebraska	I ran an A230 in my circle burner & never had a problem with it & it was synchro in 1st. iirc /6 A230's have a 1.70 1st gear and V8's have a 1.49 1st gear. live every 24 hour block of time like it's your last day on earth
