Does anyone have a list of what colors the individual springs and associated hardware are supposed to be? I can see that at least one of the smaller springs is yellow, while I'm assuming the large ones are black. Anyone know for sure?

What methods have you found successful for restoring them?

Hmmm... no replies... looks like another area the OEM Gold judges should scrutinize...

I just put a few screws into a piece of uni-strut a bit longer than the springs, stretched the spring over the screws and rattle canned them. After a good brushing of course. Certainly not OE but not a crusty, ugly mess either.

I can't afford this. mark
