Hello.
Found a manual trans. in a 76 pickup behind a 225 /6..... On the right side of the trans is a metal tag with the numbers 390 4036720
I was curious if its one of the overdrive versions?

If it's a '76 and has three levers on a removable side cover it's an OD 833.

390 = A-390 top loader 3-speed, and the other number is the seven digit part number?
