Anyone use a headers back kit on a 70 b body? How well did it fit?

Thanks

Never on a B-body, but I've used the 2.5" and 3" kit on A-bodies. Both kits fit with no problems whatsoever. The only thing I'd recommend is to add an h-pipe. Other than that, well worth the money

I see the pypes system with x-pipe is the same price. Might try that out.

I did it on a 74 RR.

Best bang for the buck system I found.

Sounds great.

I used their 3" system and after extensive modifications, I still wasn't happy with the fit. Where it goes through the crossmember never did fit right especially on the drivers side and the pipes between the headers and the mufflers is not symmetrical. Not a huge issue but never looked right. It did tuck up nicely though.

I removed the Summit system and bought the maganflow 3" stainless "X" pipe kit. Almost no modification needed with this and much happier with the end result. Here's a couple shots before the final polish.

My 3" system needed a little and I had it but still came in way under those other guys. Here's what it sounds like on a semi-built 440.
