hughes has a 2 piece plate i have been looking at - BUT - it doesnt have a drop out centre,it splits in 2. they did say it works with eddy and stealth heads when i rang them http://www.hughesengines.com/Index/produ...mp;partid=24085does look a little agricultural Tex

I used one with Eddie heads, never had a problem with it, didnt leak a bit, it comes with sheet metal screws to put the halves together, I used aircraft nut plates and a small bead of sealer between the havles, I would use one again on another BB build.

Because the Performer RPM heads don't have an extended intake runner like the Indy heads do which creates a little overhang for their (Indy's) cover to slide under.
Regardless, I know at least one person (labratt?) used the Indy cover w/ Performer RPM heads and ended up RTV-ing the he11 outta it to seal it up.

This was what I made for my W-9... I had a sheet metal (alum) but it leaked a little and I didnt like that
