Didn't Brian run 10.90's with one in his Duster?

I believe Brian ran those numbers with W2's. J.Rob p.s. I don't know what it would run but I just ran an EQ headed 3.58" stroke 360 at the EMC and made 515hp 495 ft/lbs. Here's the link 360 dyno pull @ EMC2011

Another vid: http://imageshack.us/clip/my-videos/13/irwindalevids003.mp4/I ran it with mufflers, a 10" Hughes converter (borrowed from Rob), the larger headers that made less power on our dyno (all that would fit my car), mech. water pump, alternator, just like it was a street car but with slicks and foot brakin'! This was just like I dyno'd it, 750DP and all.

this wasnt std stroke was it?
No, I was just posting up what I did since it was in question. I don't have much feedback from smaller engines using our RHS heads, but one customer in Denver said he went 13.00's with a street dart, 360, our heads, 285HL cam, 10.5:1 compression, 750DP, rpm air gap, 4.10 gear and 727. Not too bad...

Thanx for the input fellas....seems that there's so much focus on strokers these days.
Would really love to know what a tight quench, pump gas 360 with a nicely prepped set of RHS heads should do in an A body.
well just to give you some perspective...my motor was a junkyard shortblock, had measly compression, with just Brians RHS heads and his custom grind cam and my car ran like a bat outta H#$%!
So just imagine what a compression bump would do with the same mild parts...i think high 11's or faster are easy, and thats in a heavy car like mine

I'm in high altitude Colorado and have a 360 magnum with rhs heads, .225/.525 lift, air gap, 750dp, 9.5 compression, hedman headers, 3.91 gears, 3500 stall and a 3480lb car with 275/55/15 drag radials. Have gone best of 13.7@98mph. Has more in it, with tuning and traction it should be 13.5s. That time was with 8600 DA.

I think you need to tell the whole story. I got very interessted. Please tell about the 4 speed also.

sure, i'd be glad to share man...combo is very basic
3400lb car with me in it- thats all steel, full interior, with a full sound system as well (on the wheels up runs my subwoofer would launch to the back of the trunk- had to fix that lol)...using a 2.66 first gear 4 speed, centerforce clutch, leaving at 5k, shifting at 6k (my foot never comes off the gas), crossing the stripe at 5500rpm. It has a 4.10 dana 60 in it (needs more gear, but i drive it to the track 2 hours buzzing 3k the whole way there and back)...I run the full caltrac setup front and back minus their monos, and i use a 28x12.5 et street bias ply tire (like about 12 psi)
Engine is a 91 360LA factory roller block BONE stock bottom end parts...I had to flycut the factory (already dished) cast pistons on the intake side. Rods have new rod bolts..no balance job...just a ball hone, new rings and bearings Cam is a custom ground hydraulic roller from IMM Heads are RHS from Brian at IMM as well..62cc chambers, with a composite thin head gasket, I have a calculated 8.5-8.8:1 compression (depending on calculator you use) Eddy Air gap intake, 750HP holley, 1-5/8 headers 3" exhaust with x pipe and borla race muffs
I run 36 degrees all in by 2300rpms...this thing drinks back 87 octane, doesnt ping at all, and runs like a scalded dog ...Brian at IMM was a huge help, and I can tell you, everything he predicted about this motor power wise and all was spot on...he definitely knows his stuff, is super nice, and super reasonable too..can't thank him enough

My stock stroke 340 banged out 12.40's with 9 bent valves, 13 bent pushrods and 12 broken valve springs with old J heads. Can the RHS's do better? I would think so. BTW I bought it that way.

is there a link to a build thread on here of that engine or a run down what parts were in it?

My engine combo is very similar to MSHREDS. I have a 360 with 9.5 compression, 0.525 lift/0.227 duration cam, Forged pistons, MLS head gaskets, RHS heads w/ stainless valves from hughes, air gap intake, 750 DP, 1-5/8 headers and 2 1/4 exhaust with flow 40's. I run it on 85 octane fuel and it seems to very happy. The car weights 3480 with me(210lb) and it has a 3000 PTC stall with a low gear set 904 and a 8 1/4 rear with 3.91 gears. Rear suspension is all stock just the leafs are moved into the frame rails. Rear tires are 275/50/15 ET street radials. Have gotten a highest reading of 14mpg to, not to shabby. I launch at about 1400rpm and keep it in Drive, it shifts on its own at about 5800rpm. Quickest I have been is 13.78@98mph. Keep in mind that was at 8400 D/A. Up in high altitude country the cars seem like they are breathing through little straws. My car has beat new srt8 challengers, modded 440 challengers, 383 roadrunners, new camaro ss. Not to brag but these RHS headed 360's in lightweight cars can really hold their own.
