I have a customer with a 69 RR that we will be painting Q5 Seafoam Turquoise Poly. He is trying to decide what to do about the interior. My recommendation is for a white interior with the door tops and dash painted body color. He is leaning towards a salt & pepper interior.

Please post your pics so that I can show him what the various choices will look like.

Im doing a 68 gtx vert in the medium/dark turquoise and we are going with a pearl white interior and top. I know the pearl is a 68 color but all white looks sweet! It will have black carpet and dash but all panels and upper door will be white. Ill post some pics soon. Just my

A4 silver combo would be my choice....just me though

'69 white interiors would have the upper & lower doorframes in white. Here's my old car.

What about the dash and dash pad?

The dash and pad were black in white interiors. HR 20

for '69 the Plymouth b-bodies had "white" bucket seat interiors available in:

White & Black
White & Red
White & Blue
White & Green
White & Tan

IMO, White (seats/door panels) & Black (dash/carpet) is the best choice for a Q5 car.

Dan, your info shows that there are only three (3) interior colors available for Q5 exterior: White, Black and Pewter (which I mistakenly called A4 Silver ) I still like the Pewter and I have a photo (not here) with a '69 Q5 rr with a Pewter interior that I think looks awesome........then the second choice would be White but there seems to be a lot more with White than Pewter and why I like it

You could always go against the grain (pun) and put a Red interior in it and call it "mint and pepper" for mint green and red pepper

My 69 GTS 'vert is Q5. White top and white interior (as said, carpet and dash are black, everything else white). Q5 and white definitely "pop" in a good way.

As said in a later post, Q5 is not very photogenic. Different lighting conditions and cameras can easily make it look more B5.

here's one Q5 with B3 int 69'GTS 383 auto ...looks great if you look at the ext. or int. by themselves... but together ....you be the judge.
