Recently put a b&m wholeshot converter in my car, dramatic change in 60ft and about 4tenths in the 1/4 mile faster...

MY ISSUE: ever since i put it in, the car lost all its consistancy it had all year. and any predictability...

My sixty foots are dead on the first two passes, then once i start to build some decent trans heat anything over 135 or 140 it starts to lose 60ft times and alot of ET...

FIRST TWO HITS are always 1.64, from there on once it hits 140+ it goes down hill, seems to lose about 2-2 1/2 hundredths in the 60ft times, and about 6-7 in 1/4... as the weather gets better and everyone is picking up each round why am i going backward?

i changed nothing else, put a brand new identical trans in the car when i hurt my old one, incase the converter had anything to do with it we changed it too, put this b&m holeshot in from a tci streetfighter...

im thinking since the converter is the only thing DIFFERENT now, it must be whats casusing this random inconsistancy? granted i dont have any other issues going on...i am pretty confident that nothing else is wrong, but cant be sure of coarse ...sounds like either something is wrong with it from factory or even tho its working good for my combo compaired to before its not CONSISTANT for it? Am i losing my mind or does any of this make sound possible?

What trans fluid.... sounds like it has a high slippage
rate... have you checked the slippage at the different temps

Have you checked the actual stall speed of the new converter? I mean actually tested it in the car.

This post is available in double vision where drunk.

I would check it cold and then hot to compare.
