My buddy has a 71 Duster that is mini tubbed and he asked me what is the biggest tire he can fit back there with his 10" rims ? I really dont know but wondered if anyone with a Duster may have an idea ? Thanks , Ron

I have a 71 Demon that is mini tubbed using aftermarket tubs.Springs are moved into the frame rail,and I can run a 12" wide wheel with 6.5-7.0 backspace,using a 12.25x31.25 Phoenix slick.That is with the wheel lips trimmed along with leading edges of the wheel wells,so that will give you an idea.

On another subject..Ron I will be PM'ing you with some questions about the combo in your 63 Plymouth.

My Duster runs 15x12s with a 13x31 tire, which fits inside the minitubs with the springs moved to the rails and the wheel openings trimmed fore & aft. Not quite enough room for a 14x32. I run a 4.00" BS due to its narrowed Dana, 44" wide IIRC. Here's a pic @ low speed.

And here's a pic @ about 120MPH. The tires narrow up but appear to grow in OD a little. This was 9PSI.

I minitubbed my 72 Duster and fit a 325/50 15 drag radial. Its about 28" tall and a little over 13 where it ballons out. Fits great but thats a street tire.
