Don't even think about using Indy........They make some great parts, but they're machining quality control and customer service after the sale suck......... I'm not high on Barton's stuff either, unless maybe you're doing a current legal Super Stock motor.........His regular customer motors are known for not making as much HP as they're advertised.............

Ray Barton rebuilt my hemi in 2001 and I am very happy with it. I have had zero issues with mine. It did take longer than they originally told me to get it back though, but I have been told this is common with engine builders. I have heard that For Hemi's Only in Canada is very good also. Here is a link to their website. www.forhemisonly.com and here is Barton's website www.raybarton.com

Ditto on Indy. Avoid. Your man is Carlos Gomez, Submission Engines, Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Phone is 909-944-2634. He is pretty much a hemi-only engine builder , but did an awesome job on my resto Challenger motor. Much drag racing experience, does not use junk stuff. I guarantee you will be satisfied, and your engine will surpass your expectations. Plus, it won't leak! Plus, he is a gentlemen and an honest businessman. Please be aware for some reason most engine builders think their way is the only way when it comes to building an engine, and anyone who does it differently is second rate. Don't know why that is, but have seen it on numerous occasions.

Or is there someone else I am over looking?
Brother, there are a LOT of people out there who are building Hemi's. You have to decide what this engine is going to be. Strip only? Cruise only? Trailer queen?
Do you want machine work only, or a turn key engine? I went with a big name builder to do my machine work. The work was great but was very expensive. I think next time I will go with someone local who will do the machine work I want to my specs.
Check on the Race Section of this board. Lots of Hemis being built over there.

Its will be more street but I don't want a 10 to 1 motor. I want it to run like a Hemi. It wont be driven mush so I will put the good gas in it. I got the other two car that run on pump gas.

I went with Barton, but he did tell me 6 weeks, I think it was ONE YEAR before I got my engine. A few of the phone guys gave me some straight out LIES from time to time, which is my only issue, and he tried inflating the bill a bit, but I'm sure that's more the norm with some of the bigger names...? I wish Ray was the only guy I dealt with, I woulda been happier...
