I am going to go through the front end this winter. Maybe get some tubular uppers to get more caster in it!

We just rebulit the frontend on my Dart. Boxed in the lower arms and tightened the t-bar mounts and installed nylon bushings, We installed Reilly Motorsports Tubelar upper arms and their solid strut rods and Firmfeel lower control arm greasable pins. We upgraded the tie rods to 11/16 and installed PST adjusting sleeves. The caster is at 6 degrees now.The camber only moves 1/2 degree throughout the whole suspension travel and the toe only moves 1/4 inch throughout the whole suspension travel. Car drives awesome now!

Nice wheelie.
I wouldn't worry to much about the touch down wobble. Seems to be a mopar thing.

Mine does the same thing.

I figured you would be getting another converter, but just curious. I'm on the fence about spraying my car b/c I don't want to change converters and then have it run like crap on motor. It'd be nice to find a happy medium where it wouldn't kill it on motor, but still pick up on spray. I'm only talking a small hit, like 200 or so.

I'd really like to see an 8 sec timeslip, but I have all sorts of reasons not to spray my cuda.

Hey Mike,

Great video! The car makes some real torque, and launches hard.

What was the 60 foot?

Looks like I need to bring the Cuda back to Gimli and line up with you

Cheers,

Arnie

Amazing what a little ballast and shock adjustments will do. Previous to these huge wheelstands, the car was just tearing the tires off. Hey Mike. We'll have to find some better ballast because I'm done laying in the trunk for those passes!!!

I wouldnt worry about it too much Chip...once you start spraying you will never go back, running on motor seems boring once you get started on that smack lol...trust me Ive been there

"We'll have to find some better ballast because I'm done laying in the trunk for those passes!!! "

How much ballast weight does it take to do wheelstands like that PC ??? And how do you pass Tech ?

p.s. We used to do that WAY BACK as a kid trying to get into the Drive in for free.

Like Big Wedge says, tech is easy.

I'm about 220 and if the wheelstands are any indication, I think I need to loose some weight.

I had a bunch of 1.32s when the front stayed down. On the back tires 1.41s

ya bring here down. How's the motor working out for you?

Cheers,

Arnie

Mike, it ran an 8.89 at 4,600 feet DA, but there is lot's more in it. had more tranny issues, then dropped a valve, but I am changing over to titanium intakes and see what happens next year...

How is the track at Gimli, still one bad lane??

Cheers,

Arnie

Traction was equal in both lanes. Roll out may have not been!

That sucks about the trans and valve issues. Are you running a glide?

Mike
