what i think is odd is the scheduled mopar race in november is not going to be run.i would have thought that they would have completed all scheduled races before the axe struck.new engine will be on hold now.

it was just on the local news oct 16 last race.

we here in st louis mo, are just getting our track back , so we are very fortunate for sure, but as the poster above stated we to had our haters of gateway as well, they hoped it would close, it did we are very very lucky that this guy stepped up to keep it a dragstrip!
also now it appears we will have 2 dragstrips around st louis,
what a deal!!

There is all kinds of rumors but with the official announcement from the owner its tough to say what is true. We are lucky we didn't lose it 8 years ago and it sounds like we will be even luckier if we don't lose it this time.
