Hey Folks! idk if any of you saw me having trouble all weekend at Norwalk Mopar World Finals, but at 2nd rd of no box and box i started having tranny issues, which got worse everyday until i about had nothing left...

Brand new B&M Whole Shot converter 2800-3200stall vs my similar TCI StreetFighter

Either my TCI was junk when i put it in (used) or this b&m is just wayy better,

Best et before fixing the trans and replacing the converter... 11.89 @ 115 averaging 12.0s all year
sixty foots from 1.75-1.80 depending on how far i bumped in that round

NEW BEST ET WITH FRESH TRANS AND NEW CONVERTER
11.69 @ 115 sixty foot now down to 1.65-1.67

Wish i would of had it for Mopar Finals Awesome weather conditions this year...

Now off to the Pittsburgh Raceway Park Halloween Race this weekend for 3 days of no box racing Fri $600 to win, Saturday and Sunday Both $2000 to win

Then OFF to Quaker City Motorsports Park for there Halloween Race on Friday october 21st and saturday the 22nd then from there OFF TOO

THE 38th K&N Halloween Classic at summmit Motorsports park from SUNDAY-SUNDAY! entered into sundays start your engines early bird race, in thursdays no box high rollers race, and in PRO Main Event for the week! Hopefully i will see some of you mopar folks around at these races!

a proper and/or fresh converter do make a difference, send the TCI to a good converter guy and have it freshened to match the B@M and you will have a good spare, all those converters are basicly the same inside, the difference is the guy setting them up. congrats on the new best!

Thats one place no one should skimp on. A converter can really make or break a combo. Sounds like you have a good one now. Congrats on the new best. Ron

Nick,

Does your Dad post much ?

I met him in the lanes at Norwalk during the Gamblers race,,, ( I ended up coming in 2nd behind Jack Moore that night)

Your dad was a very nice guy, told him I painted my 65 white/red based on his 64' plymouth (true story)...I think he got a kick out of that.

Good luck with your car.
