Hey all,
Tried searching, but couldnt find exactly what I was looking for. The only trim I cant remove is the bottom part on the cowl. I dont even feel any clips. Got the sides and top easily with the tool that has the triangular head. So what am i missing? how do I get the bottom trim piece off?

BTW, 69 Coronet if it matters.

If it hasn't been off before it my have the factory tar like sealer which may make it hard to feel the clips. Also there are two clips at each end in the A pillar area held by a screw visible with the door open. Go slow and be easy because it's easy to damage the trim.

I took the clips off the A pillar. And there is sealer, thats probly why I cant feel clips.
Im going really slow but Im not making any progress either. Its weird cuz I got all the other trim off without too much trouble.

It can be a real pain. You might try squirting some WD-40 in there to see if it will soften that tar like sealer. I didn't think to try that when I was removing mine. IIRC I damaged mine. Thats when I found out 4 dr. trim wouldn't work. I think the bottom piece off 4 dr will work.
It's been a while since I took mine off,Good luck.

This won't help you now that you have it off, but I have had the best luck with heating the trim with a hair dryer. It usually softens the rubber enough to make the job easier and make damaging the trim less likely.

Master, again and still

I doubt you can get the old clips out,but if you can you should be able to install the new ones. Sometimes the old ones can be a pain with the windshield removed.
