On my 69 gtx 440 with the vapor seperator installed Have not drove car that much since completed notice after driving it and turn it off it will start up right away but if it sits for a short time does not want to start inless I put on pedal. Hope someone can help.

lewtot184 master L Joined: Jun 2008 Posts: 3,916 usa	this isn't a vapor lock problem. its fuel evaporation in the carb. if the engine runs at 180f and the fuel boils at 130f the fuel will vaporize in the carb. both my cars do it. i know if they sit for a week or so i have to get the squirt bottle out and fill the bowls; or grind or the starter, .
