Hi, Has anyone machined out between the lifter bores, for roller lifter guide bar clearance. I have a set of Crower full body roller lifters to suit a std block, but they won't clear the mega block without machining. Is it worth the effort or am i better to buy some raised lifters. thanks Rob.

i've done that mod on our Rottler CNC F67A. it might take a little longer on a bridgeport, but not too tough to do. those blocks are high nickel so use good tooling.

How much material has to be removed? On my World block I only had to hit the area with a carbide burr to provide clearance. Only took a few minutes per cylinder to grind a small groove.
