I also came close to being there, but work has me hostage for the moment.
Keep an eye on that elusive Silver Bullet that Chrysler said they never endorsed for the streets of Detroit. Though it wasn't a factory built Hemi unit, it was crafted there after for covert intentions by the engineers.
I'd like to see a closer eye on those Ghost 2% cars that started all the mess in Super Stock. Have a blast.

Can someone do me a HUGE favor. Take some pictures of the Shifter area (interior) of the 4 speed cars.

I'd love to see how those shifters set in the Hemi race cars with 4 speeds. I know they sit high and probably not in a stock location.

Also big favor - pics of where the battery cable exits the firewall on 68 SS AUTO cars - I've seen 1) batt cable and parking brake cable coming out of parking brake cable hole as a pair, and 2) batt cable coming out of clutch linkage hole. Anyone know how they originally were configured by Hurst??
