Just got a text Jimmy's Dart hurt something and was on fire driver Scott was taken out unharmed Thank God...

Got a call from Jimmy an hour ago. They are not sure what happened it did take out the motor and car is burned pretty bad. We had a bad connection but it sounded like the fire supression system didn't do it job as advertised

Jim,it was a pleasure to meet you at the Shakedown The car was looking absolutly BAS AZZ!!!I was sitting at the 330 on the pit side for your 1st qualifing pass when the tires blew off.Was on the other side when the car stuck and flew down the track and then erupted on the big end.I was so thankfull when they announced that Scott made it out uninjured.

These were takin early in the day,you guys looked real busy and I did not want to bother the crew.

The car really sounded crisp when it fired under the tower!!

You'd be proud to hear the chatter in the stands,here comes THAT CRAZY DART!!Heard that many times

Were you running a fairly mild tuneup on it? I thought I read somewhere that it was still relatively "mild"? If im wrong, my apologies. Hate to see that kind of carnage.
