Can I put a 4 speed in a car that had an auto trans? I just have to put a pilot brg in the crank??

Yes, you can get a roller bearing that fits into the end of the crank. If the crank is not drilled for clearance you may need to shorten the trans input shaft to fit.
Mopar part# 53009180AB - about $20

That or have the crank drilled for the 4 speed.I like my bushing.It been in for probally 35 years and still like new.Rocky

You don't have a cast crank do you


They're not drilled for a pilot bushing.

It depends on the year and motor, some of the low deck steel cranks did not have any way for the input shaft to fit deep enough into the crankshafts like stock ones do

I just converted my over to a 4-speed & used that pilot bearing.!
