Does a Carter AVS have plastic throttle shaft bushings similar to a Holley? I picked up a rebuild kit for the carb, and I want to soak the body casting of my AVS because it's been sitting for about 15 years, and needs a thorough cleaning, but I'm not sure if soaking it with the throttle shafts in place will hurt anything. I have the air horn disassemble ready to go. I was looking at an old Mopar Muscle article on the internet about an AVS rebuild and it looks like they put the whole body in.
Thanks!

Throw it in there, the throttle shaft runs right on the actual body of the carb, no bushing what so ever.
