bschargerse OP master B Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 2,507 Royersford, PA	Does a Carter AVS have plastic throttle shaft bushings similar to a Holley? I picked up a rebuild kit for the carb, and I want to soak the body casting of my AVS because it's been sitting for about 15 years, and needs a thorough cleaning, but I'm not sure if soaking it with the throttle shafts in place will hurt anything. I have the air horn disassemble ready to go. I was looking at an old Mopar Muscle article on the internet about an AVS rebuild and it looks like they put the whole body in. Thanks!
