Would like to know if anyone would know if there is anything special about these emblems. My Mother drove this car off the showroom floor of Moss Motors Dodge in Riverside, California in May of 1967. It has never been painted, the engine has never been out and there is no rust anywhere! My father told me that I would never see these emblems on any other R/T. They WERE THERE when my Mom drove out of the showroom. Someone mentioned that this could indicate a specially built 440. Feed back would be greatly appreciated.

, no V8 badges of any kind on 67 R/T fenders, just 426 Hemi badges on Hemi cars, but no badging on 440 cars. 440 was standard in R/T, so really the R/T badge tells you it's a 440, you know? JS

Thanks for all of the feed-back. But the VIN# is definately an R/T Vin# and the V8 emblem most definately came on the car new. Research as to the validity of the car not in question. There is absolutely no doubt that it is an R/T. Yes, it is a 4 barrel carburetor. This emblem had to have meant something!! I anyone knows, please let me know. Thanks
