Getting ready to to put the car to bed for the winter. Is it better to change the oil before the storage and run on it next year or put it away then change the oil in the spring? Thanks

I do one before I put it up for the winter and one as soon as I get it home in the spring.

Yes as this lets metal be coated with fresh oil as opposed to acids & other impurity laden oil sitting on it undisturbed for several months. Change oil/filter/run it a minute to get everything coated
