I can tell you that most of the time on the Mopar scanner the code will say "Solenoid circuit" if its electrical or if the PCM thinks so. If it just says "Lockup RPM wrong" most of the time its mechanical. Thats not 100% but it is true most of the time. Whenever the code had the words "Electrical Circuit" in the code it would usually be an electrical problem. This code can be caused by either. I did have a few times I had to replace the pump , input shaft and the front drum as it had a sealing problem in that area causing internal leakage keeping the converter from locking up. Ron
