Flaming River or Borgensen have some nice pieces that will do the trick for you. Mine is a weld on unit I purchased form a neighborhood race car shop.

Mine is from Firm Feel and it just slides on the manual box and onto the P/S shaft. Ron

Schoemaker (spelling?); the folks who make the engine swap kits; made the one on my car, I saw the Mopar Performance catalog is listing one, also.

I used the one from Mancini Racing. I think it was around $ 120 , well machined with an indexing slot, and it fit perfectly, locking in place with two roll pins.

Mine is the OEM adapter from a B van, and looks just like that.

I'm interested too. Do the dealers still have the "B" van piece?

Check first your adapter on the steering shaft. if that thing is worn out,
go and get the flaming river one. did the same,
steering, looking and quality is way better.

Yes. If you are comfortable with fabricating.
Cut and splice or cut and add. Index the pin and I'm pretty sure it's 3" difference.

Bingo...

Section 3" into your steering shaft or what I did was cut an end off a junker at the yard, manual or automatic.
and cut your old shaft where the new piece will give you 3 more inches
grind 45 chamfers on both sides to give the weld bead some room
remember to line up reference holes to keep wheel in somewhat of an alignment. Clamp in V blocks or whatever you have.
Tack one side and check alignment, tack again at 120 degrees, check again and then 3rd tack. If straight run the bead
Grind down slag, sand and paint to prevent flash rust. Done deal!
Rolled it and its straight as an arrow. Reassemble column with new longer shaft. Now It'll reach your manual box!
