Hey guys, I am having problems hooking up my 3 inch x-pipe kit to my Hooker Super Comps. I have a 440 Street/Strip GTX and the 3.5 inch collectors are just barely missing going through the transmission humps. Does anyone make a piece to bring them inside the humps or am I going to have to fabricate something? I saw some Hedman S pipes, but they don't make them in 3 inch. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks,
Rob

www.speedwaymotors.com (a mile from me) has an extensive selection mandrel pieces that may b the ticket. Been wanting to spring for a set of supercomps, are you happy w their quality?

Other than where the collectors end, I have been real happy with them. Have been running them open for several years, but trying to make the car more streetable. Also, if you have studs for the heads, you may have to notch the underside of the flange to clear, depending on how far the studs stick up.

I heated them up and bent them more to the center of the car and re-coated them. Just did not like how they pointed straight at the cross member.
