Does abyone know what kind of horse power you would get from a 416 stroker kit in a 340 with some head work to a set of "X" heads and a mild hydralic cam and a set of TTI headers?

It will all boil down to the entire combo.

Figure a mild to moderate 915 casting port job, dual plane intake, a 750ish carb, and a hyd. street grind cam, probably around 400-425HP 470-490lbs torque.

WAY more porting, a single plane, Holley 950, stout solid or roller cam, more like 475-525HP 475-510TQ.

WAG numbers but should give you an idea of what you'll be getting, The big crank makes a small block car drive like a big block car!

Somewhere around 1hp/cu on the conservative side. Maybe more depending on cam.

Brian at IMM got close to 475-480hp and 490-500 lb-ft but with a fairly worked set of edlebrock heads and lunati voodoo 60403 cam:
