I have a 73 Challenger, the lower left side dash trim piece was missing. I also have a repop dash. The trim pieces i have to fit , well they do not fit. Im wondering if its a 70 dash. Is the 70 lower dash piece wider at the top than the 71-74 ? Thanks for any help

It takes a little work to get the lower dash trim pieces to fit. You'll have to cut some foam out of the new pad. I had to also heat up the right hand plastic trim and bend it to fit the new pad.

To fit the left hand piece, put the top onto the pad first and then rotate it down into place. The new pad is a little wider then the factory one. If you push the top of the trim onto the pad first, it fits.

Thanks for the reply, I was thinking i had to heat the trim part to widen it. But just let it alone. Im sure i can cut some of the dash pad away to make it fit.
