The stainless trim along that lower edge of the vinyl top uses all the same type of clips . They have a nut that screws on from underneath.

Need some info or maybe someone post a pic of the vinyl top trim retainer(s)on the qrtr panel, where the chrome trim at the base of the top meets the meets the side rear window. I have two holes. I think it should have a metal spring clip that has a stud and a nut installs from inside to retain it... was the other a screw hole which holds a basic trim clip? See arrow in attached pic for location of holes Hardware was absent when I got the car I have the trim clip kit
I only had one hole on the driver's side. The passenger side quarter was relplaced so it had no holes and I had to drill one. I also had to add the studs around the belt line for the nylon clips. I also used the clip kit. Had to take the little ears off the nylon clips or they would stick out from under the trim. Craig

Next question. The front windshield molding clips had 2 held on by screw in the upper corners where the factory body work on the pillars was. I had to reconstruct my rear window channel lower corners I do know there were holes, possibly not due to rust so should there be two trim clip screw holes there? https://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/download.php?Number=5094713

No worries i checked out the rear channels and found 2 holes per side both about 1/8 in 1 in the lower channel and 1 in the side channel. Let me know if you want dimensions. Dennis
