I have a K frame made for a 426 hemi with all the mounts and all. The K frame says on it 68-69 A body. I got it at the Indy mopar swap meet this spring.
My question is:
What is the difference in a 68-69 A body K frame and say a 70 or 71?

I was wandering incase I wanted to use it to build a 70/71 nostalgia prostock duster or demon since everybody else is putting them in 68 barracudas and darts.

I don't believe there is any major differences between the '68/9 and the '70/1/2. The '67 had a different mount for the idler arm though.

70-71 K-frames had a coin welded on the drivers front, I am not aware of any other differences.

The funny thing about science is that if you change one miniscule parameter you change the entire outcome to the way you want it.

Any A-body k-member from 67-76 can be bolted into any 67-76 A-body. The major differences are the single stud 67 idler arm and the change to spool mounts in 1973. Slanty, small block, and big block k-members were all different, too. There were other changes to the sway bar mounting in 1973 and the center link.

Did you buy it from Al Debevec?

Yes the 68-72 are all dimensionaly the same.

This is actually a 68 /6 K-member Troy welded into a Hemi super stock k-member with a S/S kit in AZ. That was before Al advertised his.

Pics from a few hours ago from Troy's garage. These are the first TTI A-body hemi headers the media took pics of. TTI supposedly changed the design slightly to accomodate 4spd's. Check with TTI on that...

I can't remember his name. I will look at his business card. I thunk he is out of Minnesota. He gives you the piece to weld in the right shock tower and I got the steering column from him.
