Well my dad has been working pretty hard trying to get this car finished for me by the time I get back from this deployment. I started on it 2 winters ago and was deployed all of last summer and I'm gone again, dad's retired now and loves building racecars so he;s keeping busy with it. We are very happy with the way everything is working out, and I thought I would share the progress with you all. The plan is to run Super Pro and Super Street with it. S&W racecars has supplied most the parts and have been great to work with. Curtis

Curtis, thank you for serving! looks like great progress. My motor is set back a long way too. One thing I wished I had done was when I cut the cowl for the intake system, was I should have extended the hood full width back to the windsheild base or as close as you can get it. Opening up that much more space over the back of the motor sure would have made a lot of work easier. Stuff like changing broken valve springs, setting lash, you name it.

Thank you all...Ease of maintenence is important to me, so definitely doing something about the cowl.
