okay im checking my compression on my 440 anyway heres the problem i checked 1 st 20lbs the next one 160 then the other were all reading basicly nothing on the gauge. I re checked the first two and they read nothing the as the rest so i thought its probably my gauge so i checked my compression on my snowmobile and the gauge works fine thanks bryan.

the reason i was checking my compression was my car has a terrible miss under load i have re timed the car three diffrent times this year alone. Then i put a bigger carb on it my combo is a 10.1 comp speed pro pistons 452 heads 484 comp cam elderbrock performer intake mp igition when idleing or reving up in neutrual. It sounds great its once you get out on the road give the pedal it just starts to miss bad i am going to pick up another gauge this week.

You screwed up somewhere. With 20 psi and 0 on the others it wont run period. With 0 on the others it would spin like no plugs were in it.Try testing again.Pull all the plugs, disconnect coil, and prop the throttle wide open.Make sure the gauge lead is fully seated.Rocky

another thing i was starting to think is if would have installed my cam one tooth off would it run good with out load but once driving would it have a miss. Im going to first do the compression test the other side anddo the leak down test and see were it takes me from there
