383 Edlebrock CH4B intake and edlebrock carb. The car has airgrabber and it is a 70 RR. How thick of a spacer will work on this and clear the air grabber? I need to run a spacer to keep it from perking all my gas out. I got a 1/2" one and it seems like it is hitting when I close the hood. I thought that this intake was the same height as the stock one. i just can't aford to bust my air grabber parts up. Thanks Ronnie

sounds like you have your own answer, not trying to be a smart a$$, but I'd guess less than a 1/2"

If you haven't done it already, block the heat crossover in the intake.
