What was the original finish on '70 E Body gas tank straps? Was it galvanized or the tin/lead coating similar to the Cuda/Challenger fuel filler necks? Thanks !!

Ken-That's what I was kind of thinking.Why don't you just send that NOS pair over to me for "full" inspection and I'll get them back to you in a few years. Or maybe best if you just posted some pics for us to look at.Thanks !!

Ken,

All you need now is a NOS assembly line gas tank to go with those straps!!! Good luck finding one of those!!!

I have an NOS gas tank - what is different between it and an assembly line unit?

It's a Challenger tank so all you cuda guys can stop PMing me
